Rangers make a bid for David Goodwillie, Dundee Utd tell them to GTF
What would be an appropriate headline for this story?
"United Reject Gers offer"?
"Gers bid KO'ed"?
"United snub Gers bid"? (see Whittaker headline below)
Who knows, perhaps Stephen Thompson might even choose to "blast" Rangers for a derisory bid as we know he would if a certain other Glasgow team were involved.
But no, the scrupulously partial BBC plumped for.....
"Rangers reject £2m Goodwillie fee"
So let me get this right.... Rangers are rejected... then reject their own rejection?
Eh??!!

I sense another Stevie Naismith evil dastardly ransom stand off on the cards.
Unless Cardiff come in with a bid.
I wonder how long it will be until the Daily Ranger wheels out Goody's da to tell us about the human rights abuses his son has suffered from not being allowed to move to ra gers for whatever amount of money/ginger bottles ra peepil deem fit. Not long I expect.
Incidentally, back at the height of the "Make Stevie Nasmith a Hun as Soon as Possible" campaign in 2007, the Laptop Loyal reported Celtic's "interest" in Marco Ritgers only to add that "bumbling Celtic lost out on Dutch striker Marco Ritgers after dragging their heels.. blah blah yadda yadda yadda biscuit tin etc"
Next we'll be reading about Rangers rejecting Lee Wallace after bid rejected by Hearts who were rejected by Rangers who didn't really want him anyway.
